This service connects customer sites to the internet using Ethernet. An optical fiber cable is used for the access line, ensuring that data is transmitted to our internet backbone at a certain rate. This enables rapid, stable access to the internet.

Precautions

  • * Even within the service area, you may have to wait or may not be able to be provided with the service depending on the equipment status.
  • * This service is offered based on an assumption that optical fiber from NTT East and West is used in the access section.  This explains that you may have to wait or not be able to apply for this service depending on the installation and provision status of the optical fiber.
  • * Please be informed that our service may be temporarily suspended due to construction work such as expanding our equipment ability.
  • * The minimum usage period of this service is one year.
SLA

We adhere to the following Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the Ethernet Internet to enable customers feel secure while using the service. If we should fail to maintain the guaranteed standards, we will return the fees in accordance with the specified rate.

Failure recovery time

In case a failure occurs in the line you are using, we guarantee that it will be recovered within one hour from the time when we have been notified the failure.
If the failure continues for more than 1 hour and the reason is on our side, we will refund the fee according to the time required to recover from the failure.

  • * The definition for failure shall be stated as, a failure occurs in the line and you are not able to communication at all.
  • * The failure recovery time shall be defined as, the total time required from the point when we have been noticed the failure to when the line recovers and the customer can actually use it without a problem.
  • * SLA shall not be applied to service suspensions due to our planned work based on prior notice.

Monthly fee for the case when there was SLA violation.

Precautions

  • * No special procedures such as application procedures or additional charges are required to have the monthly fee applied for the case when there was SLA violation.
  • * Monthly fee for the case when there was SLA violation will be the upper limit of the monthly total of refunds (failure recovery time, delay time in the network, Network utilization rate) based on SLA. Daily pro-rata calculation will be applied if you apply or cancel in the middle of the month.

Additional IP address

Additional IPv4 addresses that we manage are available in increments of 8 (with an upper limit 128 addresses).

  • * Restrictions may be set on the number of global addresses that we assign.
  • * Please consult us regarding the assignment of more than 128 IPv4 addresses and the assignment of additional IPv6 addresses.

Secondary DNS service

This is a service providing a secondary DNS server for the customer's unique domain.

  • * Primary DNS server must be prepared by the customer or using the one which we provide.

Customers using the internet access service are able to use one domain for free.

Domain name acquisition and management service

We provide a service that undergoes the application procedures for the acquisition of a domain name for a customer and the maintenance and management of the domain name which will be necessary after acquisition.

Secure Option (DDoS,IPS)

This service protects the customer's network environment from DDoS attacks and hacking. Attacks are detected by inspecting the status of data communications with the customer using a system for preventing unauthorized accesses that is installed in our backbone network. 

Customers do not need to purchase any equipment because the system for preventing unauthorized accesses is installed in our backbone network, unlike conventional systems that are installed in customer networks. In addition, we are responsible for operating the system, reducing the workload bourn by administrators.

Data center-connected Internet
This is a service to connect to the Internet from the customer's housing rack in the data center. Depending on the customer's usage and budget, there are three types to choose from: the "Proprietary Type" with guaranteed communication speed, the "Shared Type" with best effort, and the "Redundant Type" with redundant configuration using two lines of the "Shared Type".

We offer two plans for customers to choose from according to their purposes of use.
